Friday, April 20th, 8:30 – 11:00 a.m
This year we will celebrate the resources that our earth provides through a variety of activities. The children will create a mural representing our community and our respect for mother earth, which we can take with us to display at our new location next year. We will have rock painting, story time, songs, and other crafts. Please send your child to school on Friday with a small stone that he/she can decorate. Additionally, please feel free to send any natural foods that you and your family enjoy. Food donations will be set-up buffet style for the children’s morning snack. If you would like to volunteer your time, please e-mail Mama Katherine at kavery@shiningstarsdc.org. There will be sign-ups on the classroom doors as well. Thank you for your collaboration!
